Lisbon airport – Azóia

Follow the 2ª circular in the direction of Sintra / Eixo Norte-Sul, as far as the turnoff for the A5 Cascais.  Following the signs towards A5 Cascais and take the motorway as far as the exit for Malveira da Serra / Aldeia de Juzo. When you reach Malveira, follow signs in the direction of Colares / Cabo da Roca until reaching the junction for Azóia.

From Azóia to the Convento de São Saturnino

When you reach the turnoff from the main road towards the district of Azóia, follow the road in that direction and take the second turning on the left. Drive around the mill (Bar) and take the first left. TheConvento de São Saturnino  is at the bottom of the valley.

We are not responsible, unfortunately, for the upkeep of the road to the gate of the property. Being in the nature reserve and a highly protected area any intervention is strictly controlled and difficult to obtain regularly. It may therefore sometimes be a bit bumpy. The treasure at the end of the trail is worth this small inconvenience. Don’t forget to bring these directions with you.
